A visit to Charlie Palmer’s Dry Creek Kitchen is unforgettable. The welcoming atmosphere, exceptional service, and delicious cuisine inspire many happy memories. Dry Creek Kitchen is not only a place for a superb dining adventure; it is also a place where visitors can enjoy a delectable education as part of the Sonoma County Wine Pioneer Series.
The Sonoma County Wine Pioneer Series invites local winemakers to host a fun, interactive seminar that includes a tasting of their exquisite wines followed by a three course prix fixe dinner. In 2009 some topics for seminars included Women Winemakers, and vineyards on the Sonoma Coast. The list of topics for 2010 included Biodynamic Wineries, Alexander Valley Cabernet Sauvignon, and “A Piece of Italy.” This year’s next seminar on October 16, 2011 invites guests to explore “A Comparison of Three Pinot Noir Wine Regions; Carneros, Russian River Valley, and the Sonoma Coast.”
Representing the Carneros Region will be Donum Estate wines presented by Consulting Winemaker, Kenneth Juhasz. From the Russian River Valley, Mark McWilliams, Operations and Winemaking, will showcase wines from Arista Winery. Ross Cobb, Winemaker & Co-founder, will spotlight the Sonoma Coast with Cobb Wines.
