A new year is here and Northern California Wine Country continues to welcome visitors with a few special events. Whether beginning your 2014 with a day trip or weekend spent in Northern California Wine Country, Pure Luxury has a few ideas to get you started.

Napa Valley Restaurant Month
During the month of January, make sure to indulge in Napa Valley cuisine at discounted rates. On the list of participating restaurants you’ll find Michelin Star restaurants and well known favorites. With over 30 restaurants participating in this third annual event, there are plenty of tasty reasons to visit Napa Valley. In true Napa style, many of the specially created menus offer optional wine pairings. For example, La Toque restaurant located at the Westin Verasa will be offering a three course dinner menu Sunday through Thursday for $50 per person. The stunning, optional wine pairing is an additional $32 per person. Make sure to take a look at the special offerings from Napa Valley hotels during this exciting month.

Tides Wharf Restaurant & Bar Annual Crab Feeds
Located in beautiful Bodega Bay, The Tides Wharf presents a delicious dinner of Dungeness Crab, clam chowder, salad, pasta, and French bread. Dates for this month are January 10th and 24th. Can’t make it during January? Dates in February are the 7th and the 21st. The Tides Wharf is located directly across the street from the Inn at the Tides. Call the Inn at the Tides to make reservations for overnight accommodations.

Gary Farrell Vineyards & Winery “Table for Twelve” Dinner
Begin the New Year with this monthly, intimate food and wine adventure. Limited to just 12 guests, dinner is served by the fire inside the Gary Farrell tasting room and is paired with exquisite Gary Farrell wines. Guest chef is award winning Executive Chef Christopher Ludwick, owner of Grapevine Catering and Earth’s Bounty Fine Foods. Chef Ludwick brings his dedication to fresh, local, ingredients to each seasonally created menu. An award winning chef and award winning wines make this a very special experience. This month’s dinner, scheduled for January 18th, is sold out! However, there are currently seats available for February 15th.
