Wine County Farmers’ Markets Gear up for Summer

sebastopol market1

Given Sonoma County’s mild weather, the growing season runs year-round, from spring lettuces, to summer apples, fall grapes and winter melons. That means many local farmers’ markets operate year-round, too.

Still, summer is an extra special time, when berries abound, stone fruits hang heavy on the branches, gardens brim with zucchini, and vines burst with tomatoes of all color.
