This month, on September 17 & 18, 2011 the Heart of Sonoma Valley Winery Association presents the 2011 Sonoma Valley Crush. This harvest event invites guests to visit the scenic Heart of Sonoma located between the towns of Glen Ellen and Kenwood. Click here for passes to taste at any of the 16 participating Heart of Sonoma wineries during this special weekend. Wineries will be offering special discounts, barrel tastings, and tastings of library wines. The list of wineries includes Deerfield Ranch Winery, Muscardini Cellars/Ty Caton Vineyards, Kenwood Vineyards, and more.

As part of this year’s Crush celebration, certain wineries are offering additional events for guests to choose from on a variety of dates. Audelssa Estate Winery offers an exploration into Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, and Zinfandel that concludes with a tasting of three Audelssa Cabernet Sauvignon wines. Paradise Ridge Winery presents a Vineyard Tour and Picnic Lunch with the Winemaker including lunch provided by Café Citti, a barrel tasting, and more tastings of Paradise Ridge wines. VJB Vineyards & Cellars hosts an Estate Vineyard Luncheon with the proprietors featuring Italian cuisine paired perfectly with VJB Italian wines.
