On Saturday, December 3rd, 2011 Gundlach Bundschu welcomes guests to the Gundlach Bundschu Winery Holiday Palooza and Toy Drive. The tasting room opens its doors at 11:30 a.m. and offers two ways to embrace the giving spirit: donate a new, unwrapped toy to the tasting room; or donate your tasting fees. Gundlach Bundschu hosts a special tasting for the day – their 2009 Chardonnay perfectly paired with a taste of warm butternut squash soup.

 

For Gundlach Bundschu wine club members, the donation of a new unwrapped toy grants admission to a jubilant party beginning at 3 p.m. in the barrel cave. This exclusive event pairs Gundlach Bundschu wines with tasty treats, hosts a selection of games and prizes, and offers thanks to members while donating to a worthy cause.

All donations benefit children in need living in Sonoma. Toy donations will be shared with the batch of gifts distributed at the Race to the Holidays Christmas Party at Infineon Raceway. This annual event is sponsored by the Infineon Raceway Sonoma chapter of Speedway Children’s Charities, a non-profit organization dedicated to caring for children.
