The dark, almost black, color of Petite Sirah and the delicious tastes of perfectly paired foods inspired the name Dark and Delicious for this 4th annual event presented by PS I Love You. On Friday, February 19, 2010 from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Petite Sirah fans will gather at Rock Wall Wine Company in Alameda for the impressive food and wine experience that is Dark and Delicious 2010. As the only Petite Sirah focused consumer event, tickets sell out each year. Attendees will enjoy tastings from 41 outstanding Petite Sirah wine companies paired perfectly with tasty bites from 26 of Napa Valley and the Bay Area’s finest restaurants, caterers, and food purveyors. Dark and Delicious 2010 features Petite Sirah from wineries such as Trentadue, Stags’ Leap, and Foppiano Vineyards. Tasty food pairings will be served by restaurants including Yoshi’s, Fume Bistro, and Bistro Jeanty.
PS I Love You is a non-profit, Petite Sirah Advocacy Organization with over 80 members forming a society of winegrowers and makers dedicated to promoting and educating others on this deep and rich varietal.
