When I think of a music festival, I imagine an open, dry, dusty area with too many people all eager to be sunburned. I picture a somewhat apathetic crowd wandering from one vendor booth to another, not completely into the music being played by a live band that probably sounds better on a CD than in person. But when I heard about the first music festival happening at Gundlach Bundschu Winery, a different picture came to mind.

Gundlach Bundschu Winery has been creating award-winning, superbly balanced wines for 152 years from its scenic property in Sonoma. If practice makes perfect, it’s no wonder that after six generations of a lot of hard work and a commitment to producing the highest quality wines possible, Gundlach Bundschu has earned a loyal following that stretches far beyond Sonoma Valley. If Gundlach Bundschu is hosting a music festival, it’s sure to be one featuring high quality bands at this lush, picturesque, Certified Green Sonoma Valley winery.
