Walking towards the wood and glass doors of Trentadue’s tasting room the sound of the fountain immediately relaxes visitors. Once inside, the balance of natural light streaming in through the windows and soft lighting creates a welcoming atmosphere. Trentadue offers free tastings for their classic wines and charges only $5.00 for their reserve and port wines.
Trentadue’s award-winning wines have been growing from premium grapes on their 200 acre estate for over 47 years. This family owned winery uses sustainable farming practices that reflect a commitment to fruit quality and to the land from which it comes.
Miro Tcholakov has been the Winemaker at Trentadue Winery since the summer of 1999. His list of accomplishments while at Trentadue includes consistent scores of 90 and above from Robert Parker’s Wine Advocate and a 92 point score from The Wine Spectator. During the San Francisco Chronicle’s Wine Competition, Trentadue and Mr. Tcholakov added six more Gold Medals to their collection of over 60 Gold Medals, more than 30 Double Gold and Best of Class, and hundreds of Silver Medals! Tcholakov has also overseen the introduction of the winery’s first line of reserve wines. Using only the finest Estate lots from each harvest and expertly blending them together, La Storia Reserves have earned Trentadue more medals.
