With just a couple of weeks left until the Thanksgiving Holiday, Pure Luxury wanted to offer some ideas for the upcoming Holiday weekend. On November 22nd at 2:00 p.m. the Tree Lighting Celebration at Pier 39 in San Francisco will begin! This free event features live entertainment. On November 27th, San Francisco will host two Tree Lighting events. The event at Ghirardelli Square offers free Holiday entertainment starting at 1:00 p.m. and ending with the Tree Lighting at 5:30 p.m. The 2009 Macy’s Tree Lighting Ceremony takes place at 6:00 p.m. in Union Square. Donations to sponsor a light at $5 each raise funds for patients, programs, and services at UCSF Children’s Hospital. The 85-foot Shasta White Fir from the Carlton Tree Farm in Mount Shasta will sparkle with thousands of lights and 1,500 red and gold ornaments.

Enjoy your Thanksgiving dinner at one of Sonoma County’s best restaurants! In Bodega Bay, The Bay View Restaurant will be serving Thanksgiving dinner between 1:00 p.m. and 8:00 p.m.

Inside Madrona Manor

Healdsburg’s Madrona Manor’s menu will be served from 1:30 p.m.

to 7:30 p.m. Santa Rosa’s John Ash & Co. will be offering Thanksgiving dinner for $58 for adults and $29 for children 12 and under. In the town of Sonoma, the Girl and the Fig and Estate will be serving a 3 course menu for $50 per person, $20 for children 10 and under. Both restaurants will begin serving their Thanksgiving Menu at 2:00 p.m. The Girl and the Fig will be serving until 8:00 p.m. and Estate will be serving until 7:00 p.m.

Entering Jacuzzi Family Vineyards

On Thanksgiving Day, Cline Cellars and Jacuzzi Family Vineyards will be open. On the following day, The Heart of Sonoma Valley Association presents their 26th Annual 2009 Holiday Open House on November 27th & 28. Visit 24 wineries in the Sonoma Valley for wine tastings, visits to wine caves and cellars, and a chance to meet the winemakers. Enjoy special snacks, caroling, and more as you visit each winery.
