The 24th Annual Wine & Chocolate Fantasy at Rodney Strong Vineyards

What were you doing 24 years ago? The San Francisco 49ers had just won Superbowl XXIII. George H.W. Bush had just become the 41st president of the United States. And Rodney Strong Vineyards was preparing for their first Annual Wine & Chocolate Fantasy.

This year, Rodney Strong Vineyards’ 24th Annual Wine & Chocolate Fantasy promises more delicious decadence on Saturday, February 9, 2013 from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.

  • Taste pairings of Rodney Strong Vineyards critically acclaimed, award-winning wines with handmade chocolates and other special treats.
  • The list of local vendors includes Peters’ Chocolates, Bert’s Desserts, Biscotti Bari, and more.

  • The winery’s Artisan Winery space, where special reserve and single vineyard cabernets are created, will be transformed into an elegant, romantic venue to celebrate Valentine’s Day early with a special someone.

Originally established in 1959 by Rodney and Charlotte Strong, Rodney Strong Vineyards was purchased by the Klein family in 1989. With the leadership of proprietor Tom Klein, Rodney Strong Vineyards continues to be a family-owned winery dedicated to crafting world-class wines while using eco-friendly practices. Rick Sayre, Head Winemaker of the experienced, talented, skilled winemaking team celebrates his 34th year with Rodney Strong Vineyards in 2013.
