Emil Dresel came from Germany to California in 1858 and quickly saw the land’s potential for grape-growing. On March 12th after exploring California’s terrains he purchased 400 acres with three fellow Germans and Scribe Winery was born.

Fun Fact: Emily Dresel was actually the son of a famous champagne producer in Germany.

The Gianulias Family started their winemaking traditions back in 1926. Levendi is a boutique winery located in Napa Valley, California with a strong Greek tradition (hence, their name Levendi).

Fun Fact: “Levendi” is actually a Greek Toast, and is said to acknowledges a hard day’s achievement. Celebrating the fields, the rain and the sun.
