9th Annual VinOlivo Grand Tasting
On February 14th from 7:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m., at the Lodge at Sonoma, guests will be transported into a delightful world of Sonoma Valley wine and Wine Country cuisine. Explore the Bubble Room and sip a variety of sparkling wines while nibbling on crispy frites. Enjoy the Olive Bar where guests are invited to choose from a wide selection of specially prepared olives to pair with their wines. Guest will be invited to taste wines from Chateau St. Jean, Cline Cellars, Deerfield Ranch Winery, GlenLyon Vineyards & Winery, Talisman Wines, Ty Caton Vineyards, and many more. Delicious bites will be provided by the talented culinary staffs of Carneros Bistro, El Dorado Kitchen, Hopmonk Tavern, the girl & the fig, and more. With over 60 wineries and bites from over 25 local Wine Country food purveyors, this event truly celebrates Sonoma Valley wines and Wine Country.

Often Pure Luxury clients ask for suggestions for wineries that they refer to as “hidden gems.” This annual event on February 22nd from 12:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. is the rare opportunity for wine-lovers to experience a collection of Sonoma Valley wines crafted by independent, artisan wineries. Gathered together in a warehouse district located near Sonoma Plaza, nine wineries invite guests to taste wine, meet winemakers, snack on tasty bites, and enjoy live entertainment. A sampling of what guests will find includes; MacRostie Winery presents live music by the Easy Leaves Duo to accompany their wines, Three Sticks Wines will pour a Spring Release preview of their Moon Mountain Cabernet Sauvignon, a Cassoulet cooked specially by Broadway Catering will be paired with the selection of wines from Anaba Wines,glazed meatloaf sliders served on a Costeaux French Bakery bun to savor with wine samples from Enkidu Wines.

This event dedicated to Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon makes its debut on February 28th at the Napa Valley Performing Arts Center at Lincoln Theater. The festival begins with an appearance by award winning actor and musician, Jeff Bridges, as he performs with his band, Jeff Bridges and the Abiders. Seminars and panels dedicated to Cabernet Sauvignon will be offered throughout the weekend. A Grand Tasting of over 100 Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon wines will include tastings of wines from well known and boutique Napa Valley wineries including Silver Oak Cellars, Freemark Abbey Winery, Peju Province Winery, and Whitehall Lane Winery.

Rutherford Hill Winery, owned by the Terlato family, invites guests for an Italian Pasta Party on March 8th. Guests will partake in a family-style dinner in Rutherford Hill Winery’s candlelit wine cave. Dinner features dishes created with recipes from the Terlato family, estate olive oil, and newly released Rutherford Hill wines. The festive ambiance of the evening also includes lively music performed by a talented accordion player.
