I remember the first time I won an award. I was in second grade. I worked hard for a week – even during recess. I was proud of what I had accomplished. I knew that being happy with what I had done should be reward enough but I still hoped to win. When my name was called as the winner, I triumphantly walked up the aisle wearing a huge smile. It doesn’t matter whether the year is 1970-something or 2011: being recognized for a job well done never loses its magic.
On October 4, 2011 Pure Luxury Transportation was awarded Best of Wine Tourism Services 2012. Our C.O.O., Jennifer Buffo, accepted the award at the beautiful Napa Valley Welcome Center. The award came in recognition from Great Wine Capitals Global Network San Francisco/Napa Valley 2012 Regional Best of Wine Tourism Awards.

The honor was determined by a panel of judges within the industry and from the San Francisco/Napa Valley region. According to the judges, Pure Luxury excelled at creating memorable, specialized experiences in Napa Valley and also for its dedication to green practices. The judges said:
“Pure Luxury Transportation has been recognized with the 2012 Great wine Capitals Best of Tourism Award for Wine Tourism Services because of the level of customization and expertise it offers visitors seeking the ultimate Napa Valley experience, as well as its aggressive environmental policies as a Certified green transportation company.”
As the regional “Best of” award winner, Pure Luxury moves forward to compete for an international award which will be judged by an international panel of respected wine tourism professionals and presented at the annual meeting of the Great Wine Capitals global Network later this month in Germany.
